Based in London, Rohan is responsible forinterest rates research across cash, derivative and moneymarkets in Europe. Prior to joining Barclays in June 2023,he held similar position at UBS AG and prior to that was arates strategist at Goldman Sachs. Rohan holds a MSc inEconomics from London School of Economics and aBachelor in Engineering and MBA Finance specialisationsfrom India.Moyeen Islam is a Director and Interest Rates Strategistcovering European Fixed Income Strategy, based inLondon. Moyeen joined the European Fixed IncomeResearch team in 2004. Between 2000-2004, he was asenior economist in the Macroeconomic Policy andInternational Finance Directorate in HM Treasury coveringdebt management policy and government borrowingstrategy as well as policy issues surrounding the widermanagement of the liability side of central government’sbalance sheet. In the earlier part of his public sectorcareer, he worked for six years within the GovernmentEconomic Service in threedifferentgovernmentdepartments. In this period, he had a variety ofresponsibilities including analysis of Latin Americaeconomies, sovereign credit issues, global oil and oilproduct markets and reform of European downstreampower markets. He has represented the UK government ata variety of international meetings including the OECD/IMFcommittees and workshops and has had extensiveexperience of negotiating European directives. Moyeen View Analyst Page studied economics at University College, London andManchester University.View Analyst PageMax Kitson is a research analyst based in London coveringEuropean Rates. He has been a part of the Rates Researchteam at Barclays since 2018. Max holds a BA in Economicsand Management from Balliol College, Oxford.View Analyst PageAlessandro joined Barclays in February 2024. Based inLondon, he focuses on European rates strategy.
