Foreword This document provides the second set of outputs of the Review Sharing initiative which theWorking Party on Biocides (WPB) has undertaken over the last few years. Review sharing wasproposed to leverage constrained specialist resourcesmore efficientlyand permit thosespecialists (generally toxicologists) to pursue more value-added activities such as risk orexposure assessment. An expert group of the WPB was formed which defined a process and created the necessarydocuments to realize the objectives of the project. The expert group reviewed available national checklists and processes to draft and refineHarmonized Standard Review Forms for the studies in scope and develop a Standard OperatingProcedure for applicants and government reviewers to follow. The Standard Operating Procedureand HSRF for the acute studies commonlyknown as the “6 Pack” acute studies were initiallypublished as “Sharing of Government Biocides Reviews: Standard Operating Procedure andHarmonised Study Review Forms of the "6 pack" Acute Studies”, in the Series on Biocides (No.14) in February 2019. The Standard Operating Procedure described in the Series on Biocides (No. 14) applies to thenew HSRF described in the current publication.
