The core businesses ofthe Company and its subsidiaries (collectively called the“Group” or “Man Yue Tech”) are the manufacture andsale of high technology electronic components, includingAluminum Electrolytic Capacitors (“E-Caps”), ConductivePolymer Aluminum Solid Capacitors (“Polymer Caps”) andother innovative electronic components. As the key manufacturer of E-Caps and Polymer Caps,the Group owns the renowned SAMXON®and X-CON®brands, both are respected brands for their advancedtechnology and superior quality, backed by the Group’sstrong R&D capabilities and established global network.The Group’s products comply with the European Union’sdirective on the restriction of hazardous substances inelectrical and electronic equipment (“RoHS”) and theenvironmentalprotection requirements relevant andspecific to different markets globally. ManYue Tech is headquartered in Hong Kong andoperates its state-of-the-art E-Caps manufacturing facilitiesin Dongguan and Wuxi, China, with a total productioncapacity of over 1 billion pieces per month. The Groupowns two aluminum foil factories located in Qingyuanand Yaan, China producing aluminum foil for its ownconsumption. The Group has distribution offices locatedin Hong Kong, China and Taiwan, complemented byworldwide distribution channels. TheGroup offers a full range of E-Caps productswhich satisfy the needs of global customers, consistingmainly of the world’s leading information technology,telecommunications, electrical and electronic brands.In 2006, the Group launched an innovative electroniccomponent known as the Polymer Caps, and has advancedto be a major global vendor. The Group continued itspioneering course by unveiling a new type of capacitor in2009 – Electric Double Layer Capacitor (“EDLC”), whichacts as an energy storage device in electrical or electronicproducts. ManYue Tech is fully committed to environmentalsustainabilityfor both its products and operations.All products are halogen-free and complied with therequirements of RoHS. In addition, all production facilitiesof the Group conform to relevant local environmentalregulations and the Group obtained relevant certificationwhere appropriate. Not content with simply and passivelyobserving regulations, the Group is actively pursuingopportunities to directly contribute to the protection ofenvironment. The Group has introduced and continued todevelop solutions for enhancing energy efficiency, such ascapacitors found in LED lamps and high-efficiency lightingand new storage devices for use in environmental friendlyproducts. The Group remains steadfast in its support ofenvironmental protection, consistent with its commitmentto be a good corporate citizen. Over the years, the Group has fostered creativity andinventiveness among the well-trained and highly qualifiedresearch and development (“R&D”) professionals who haveenabled the Group to develop new and groundbreakingproducts.
