TheEuropeanUnionisactivelyworkingonthedeploymentofGOVSATCOM,withEUSPAimplementingtheGOVSATCOMHub.Inaddition,theEUispreparingtheambitiousIRIS²,thenewSecureConnectivityProgramme.ThesesystemswillcomplementtheexistingEUSpaceProgramme’scomponentsforNavigation(GalileoandEGNOS),EarthObservation(Copernicus),andSpaceSituationalAwareness. Inthiscontext,EUSPAdraftedthefirsteditionoftheGNSSandSecureSATCOMUserTechnologyReport.ThisreportisdesignedtoofferyouacomprehensiveunderstandingofthelatestdevelopmentsandtrendsinGlobalNavigationSatelliteSystems(GNSS)andsecureSatelliteCommunications(SATCOM),twopivotaltechnologiesthatareincreasinglyintertwinedandessentialinourmodernworld.
