The increase was due to increase in provisionof litigation claims, net. For the Year, the Group recorded a revenue ofapproximately HK$32 million, representing a decrease of 70% compared withthat of the last financial year. The decrease in revenue was mainly derivedfrom temporarily suspension of sales of calcium carbide during the Year. 業務回顧 BUSINESS REVIEW 中礦黑河龍江化工 For calcium carbide production division, its operation was partially suspendedtemporarily since January 2023 due to the decrease in market selling price ofcalcium carbide. Since the Company can obtain the raw material at market-discounted price with China Mining United Holding Group Co., Ltd (“ChinaMining”) and its continuing connected transactions were duly passed on9 September 2024, The production of Heihe Longjiang Chemical Limited(“HLCL”) is expected to fully resume in October 2024. 牡丹江海迪 In terms of chemical products for agriculture division, Mudanjiang HaidiTechnology Company Limited (“Mudanjiang Haidi”) has commencedproduction and sales of chemical products for agriculture. In view of theconsiderable profit margin, the Board believes that Mudanjiang Haidi willcontinue to be the growth driver of the Group in the forthcoming years. 牡丹江佳日熱電 For the heat and power division, deconsolidation of the operation wasdecided on 26 August 2022. Mudanjiang Better Day Power Limited(“Mudanjiang BD Power”) is in the process of voluntary liquidation and afterthe completion of liquidation process, the Company can carry out reversalof receivables in respec
