The decrease was due to deconsolidationof the heat and power segment. For the Year, the Group recorded a revenueof approximately HK$105 million, representing a decrease of 72% comparedwith that of the last financial year. The decrease in revenue was mainlyderived from deconsolidation of the heat and power segment and temporarilysuspension of sales of calcium carbide during the Year. 業務回顧 BUSINESS REVIEW 黑河龍江化工 For calcium carbide production division, its operation was partially suspendedtemporarily since January 2023 due to the decrease in market selling priceof calcium carbide as compared with last year. In view of the price of rawmaterial in the current stage, Heihe Longjiang Chemical Limited (“HLCL”)expected fully resumption of production at the end of 2023. In terms of chemical products for agriculture division, Mudanjiang HaidiTechnology Company Limited (“Mudanjiang Haidi”) has commencedproduction and sales of chemical products for agriculture. In view of theconsiderable profit margin, the Board believes that Mudanjiang Haidi willcontinue to be the growth driver of the Group in the forthcoming years. 牡丹江海迪 For the heat and power division, deconsolidation of the operation was decidedon 26 August 2022.
