CHAIRMAN’SSTATEMENT主席報告 LIU ZEMING劉澤銘CHAIRMAN AND EXECUTIVEDIRECTOR Dear Shareholders: On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to present theannual report of the Group for the year ended 31 December 2023. 回顧 REVIEW 108.017.551.5%78.2% In 2023, the economy gradually returned to a normal growth,demonstrating a critical period for development recovery andindustrial upgrading. Despite a complex and volatile internationalenvironment, and amidst a continuous slowdown in the globaleconomy, the Group has consistently pursued robust operations whileseeking progress in stable conditions. Confronted with numerouschallenges and intensifying competition within the industry, the Groupclosely aligned with the 14th Five-Year Plan, surmounting obstaclesand achieving significant progress. Our focus has been on deeplyadvancing the development of a green economy and actively pursuingdiverse opportunities to adapt to the evolving development landscape.We strive to contribute to the advancement of a high-quality andsustainable circular economy. Revenue and net profit for the yearended 31 December 2023 amounted to approximately RMB108.0million and RMB17.5 million, respectively, representing a year-on-yeardecrease of 51.5% and 78.2%, respectively. 勇毅前行，擁抱未來 EMBRACING THE FUTURE WITH COURAGE In 2023, the Group invested in the future by steadily promoting majorstrategies based on the circular economy. To deepen the developmentof the green economy further and adhere to sustainable practices, theGroup grasped the opportunities for growth, promoted the extensionof the industrial chain and optimised the industrial penetration.During the Reporting Period, the sulfuric acid production line was putinto operation. Building upon its inherent strengths, the Group’sprofitability and stability were further enhanced with a diversifiedproduct portfolio.
