In 2023, the GDP per capita of the PRC reachedRMB89,358. 於二零二三年，中華人民共和國（「中國」）國內 生 產 總 值 比 去 年 增 長5.2%， 高 於 二 零二二年3.0%的增長及年初約5.0%的增長目標。二零二三年中國人均國內生產總值達到人民幣89,358元。 In 2023, PRC cigarette production increased by 0.44% year-on-year. However, given the decrease in tendering price underthe mandatory tendering policy in effect for the cigaretteindustry and the increase in raw material prices, the Groupwas subject to considerable operating pressure underintensifying industry competition. Since December 2020, theunsuccessful bid in the tender of some customers for theorders in the coming years has and is expected in the comingyears to have an adverse financial impact on the overallrevenue and profitability of the Group.
