The Dispute Resolution Chamber has ruled on an employment-related dispute between Brazilian player Edgar Calgaroto Filho and South African club Marumo Gallants FC. The case concerns an invitation letter sent by the club to the player on 13 January 2023, offering him a trial period of approximately 10 days with accommodation and transport provided. The player arrived in South Africa on 24 January and underwent a medical examination, but left on 6 February without signing a contract. On 10 April, the player put the club in default and requested payment of USD 60,000. The ruling of the Dispute Resolution Chamber is awaited.
