FIFA's Forward Programme, launched in 2016, has been a key driver of global football development, with $2.79 billion allocated for investment in 211 member associations, six confederations, and 13 zonal/regional associations. The most recent iteration of the programme was launched in 2023, and FIFA is now sharing a detailed report on the activities undertaken during the first two cycles of the programme. The report provides a transparent account of the successful usage of development funds across the world. FIFA Forward has led to unprecedented football development on and off the pitch, and FIFA would like to thank each member association, confederation, and zonal/regional association for their immense contribution and tireless efforts over the past seven years. The report is hoped to provide further insight into the programme's impact and legacy.
