The report shows that in the past 12 months, there has been a net increase in social media interaction and streaming video consumption, with 50% and 70% of respondents respectively indicating an increase. However, there has been a net decrease in website and app visits and a net increase in streaming audio consumption. In terms of future media consumption patterns, 30% of consumers currently pay for subscriptions and are likely to continue doing so next year, while 19% are likely to cancel their subscriptions. 14% of consumers do not currently pay for subscriptions but may consider subscribing next year. The report also shows that 22% of females and 60% of males plan to stick with their music streaming services in 2022. Additionally, 53% of males and 64% of females are expected to increase their media consumption in the next 12 months.
