The data is based on a global Custom survey fielded in October and November 2021, covering 17 global markets and 19,000 respondents. The survey includes information on social media interaction, net more or less, podcasts, streaming video and audio, radio, and video on demand. The report shows that 50% of Indian respondents pay for and are likely to continue paying for subscriptions in the next year. The expected increase in media consumption in the next 12 months is 42%. The report also shows that females are more likely to stick with their video on demand services in 2022 compared to males.
