The Travel Risk Management survey conducted by BCD Research & Intelligence and Global Crisis Management aims to explore the topic of travel risk management (TRM) and gather intelligence on travel buyers' experiences creating and managing their organizations' TRM programs. The survey assesses an organization's competency in three elements of an ideal TRM program: plan, support, and review. The importance of the ISO 31030:2021 is also discussed, which provides guidance for organizations in managing travel risks. The survey findings suggest that organizations are somewhat familiar with the standard, with 31% of respondents indicating that they have read it.
