This report explores the use of digital media by Americans while in transit, including in cars, on mass transit, and in hotels. The study was conducted through an online survey of 2,566 US consumers aged 16-74, weighted to US census data. Key findings include that two-thirds of drivers use over-the-air (OTA) radio while driving, and 44% use streaming services. For mass transit, 60% of respondents use their own devices for entertainment, while 42% use the free Wi-Fi offered by the transit system. In hotels, 63% of respondents want free Wi-Fi, while 49% want streaming services. Overall, the study suggests that digital media is an important part of the travel experience for many Americans.
