Internationally, the European and U.S.banking crisis that broke out in March 2023 had broughtabout an adverse impact on the global capital market andcast a shadow over the recovery of the global economy. 2023202331.1202320226 302022202362023 D e s p i t et h e v o l a t i l i t y a n d t h e d e c l i n i n g t re n d i n t h einternational crude oil prices,(Zhong Hai You Qi (Taizhou) Petrochemical Company Limited*)(“Zhong Hai You Qi”), a joint venture of the Company whichis principally engaged in the crude oil processing businessand the production and sale of petrochemical products, stillsuccessfully achieved the targets in respect of its productionand operation for the first half of 2023. During the periodunder review, it expanded into the overseas market by selling11,000 tons of diesel products to its customers in SoutheastAsia in March 2023.
