A Collaborative Approach to Ending Gender-Based Violence: Lessons from UNDP SDP Projects
This report outlines a new approach to ending gender-based violence (GBV) by integrating prevention and responses in four UNDP sectoral development projects. The approach emphasizes the importance of working with project partners and teams to lay the foundation for successful GBV prevention and response. The report also provides recommendations for addressing project partner and team buy-in and support, transforming the project structure and approach, and implementing ethical and effective GBV prevention and response actions within an integration approach. The lessons learned from the pilot projects are valuable for promoting gender equality and preventing GBV in development projects.
