The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has published a report on improving interchanges to enhance the quality of public transport systems in the People's Republic of China. The interchange hub is a critical element in developing a sustainable and efficient public transport system, and the report presents ideas for improving interchanges by enhancing the journey experience for passengers. The lessons and innovations presented here may be used for designing the next generation of interchange hubs in the country. ADB's vision is to create a poverty-free Asia and Pacific region, and it is committed to reducing poverty through inclusive economic growth, environmentally sustainable growth, and regional integration.
