Guangzhou office market report for Q3 2019: Supply of Grade A office space increased by 3.6% to 4.57 million square meters, with an occupancy rate of 91.3%. The average rental price was RMB 183.5 per square meter per month, up 1.5% from the previous quarter. The Grade A office market saw a net absorption of 123,000 square meters, with the financial and professional services sectors accounting for the majority of demand. The CBD area remains the most sought-after location, with a vacancy rate of only 3.5%. The suburban market saw a higher vacancy rate of 12.5%, but rental growth was stronger at 2.8%. Overall, the Guangzhou office market is expected to remain stable in the short term.
