BUSINESS REVIEW AND MANAGEMENT DISCUSSIONAND ANALYSIS 99,028,000110,344,00049,974,00011,123,00041,679,00056,682,000 During the year ended 31st March 2026, the Company and itssubsidiaries (together the “Group”) recorded a consolidatedrevenue of HK$99,028,000 (2025: HK$110,344,000), grossprofit of HK$49,974,000 (2025: HK$11,123,000) and lossattributable to owners of the Company of HK$41,679,000(2025: HK$56,682,000). (i)(ii) The improvement in gross profit and net loss was mainlyattributable to (i) the absence of loss attributable to certain filmtitles and a musical performance released last year; and (ii) thecompletion and recognition of contract with media platformsof a higher amount during the year, taking into account theminimal carrying cost of relevant film titles, a higher gross profitwas thus generated during the year. 23,600,00020,100,000 The contribution of revenues from the Group’s channeloperations segment for the year dropped from approximatelyHK$23.6 million to approximately HK$20.1 million. myTV SupermyTV Super In Hong Kong, the Group is supplying a Chinese moviechannel with hundreds of movies to TVB’s new media platform,namely myTV Super, the content of which are receivable byviewers via various devices, including big screens, mobilephones, APPs and PCs. The original content supply contractwith myTV Super expired in mid-2024 and we successfullyrenewed a multiple-year contract with this platform with amodest concession in our license fee which cause the drop insegment revenue during the year. Our contents enjoyed highratings according to the survey by the platform. Our movies in the Youtube OTT platform are well received byviewers worldwide. In addition to the Chinese version in theYoutube service, we also dubbed our movies in Vietnameseand Thai languages to serve audience in the markets andreceived encouraging results. YouTube OTTYouTube CHAIRMAN’S STATEMENT 220T VCinema MA4 In Taiwan, we successfully went through the mid-term reviewof the broadcast license issued by the local government.The license is extended and valid until 2027. We offered ourcontents to viewers via Chung Hwa Telecom, the largesttelecom company with more than 2 million subscribers. Ourcontents enjoyed the top ratings among the 20 movies/dramachannels package in this telecom services. In addition, wesigned a deal with a cable TV operator, launching our brandedblock of movies “Cinema MA” in the second half of 2025. Theoperator has a coverage of more than 4 million subscribersin Taiwan. During the year, we also invested in a project ofstage play in Taiwan, the story of which was adapted by
