Nature of Operations and Basis of Presentation General Motors Company (sometimes referred to in this Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q as we, our, us, ourselves, the Company,General Motors, or GM) designs, builds, and sells trucks, crossovers, cars, and automobile parts, and provides software-enabled servicesand subscriptions worldwide. We also provide automotive financing services through General Motors Financial Company, Inc. (GMFinancial). We analyze the results of our operations through the following segments: GM North America (GMNA), GM International(GMI), and GM Financial. In December 2024, we announced that we would no longer fund Cruise's robotaxi development work and willrefocus our autonomous driving strategy on personal vehicles, and, in February 2025 we completed the acquisition of the noncontrollinginterests in Cruise, began to wind down the Cruise r
