CNCFnow hosts more than 230 projects with over300,000 contributors worldwide, making it oneof the largest open source organizations in theworld. 230+ Projects ~800CNCF Members 300k+Contributors In 2025, CNCF continued its mission of helping organizations adoptcloud native tools at scale. We launched the Certified KubernetesAI Platform Conformance Program to support consistent andreliable AI infrastructure, introduced new training paths for platformengineering with CNPA and CNPE certifications, and welcomedrecord-breaking crowds to KubeCon + CloudNativeCon eventsacross the globe. Since then, the progress we’ve made in reducing developerfriction across these ecosystems speaks volumes about the passionand collaborative spirit of our community. By empowering ourmaintainers and upholding the rigorous governance that definesthe CNCF, we continue to ensure that the most innovative softwarein the world remains built on a foundation of trust that only ourcommunity can provide. Our end user community also remains one of CNCF’s greateststrengths. This year’s Top End User Awards went to Ant Group andMichelin, both demonstrating how cloud native technologies aresolving real infrastructure needs in production. This year’s report captures a year of practical impact and collaboration. The work happeningacross our projects, communities, and member companies is shaping the next decade ofopen source infrastructure.
