GEMGEM MANAGEMENT DISCUSSION ANDANALYSIS BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL REVIEW Overview During the six months ended 30 September 2025 (the“Period”) under review, the Group recorded a revenue ofapproximately HK$36.7 million, representing an increaseo f a p p r o x i m a t e l y 0 . 2 % , w h e n c o m p a r e d t o t h a t o fapproximately HK$36.6 million achieved for the six monthsended 30 September 2024 (the “Preceding Period”), whichwas mainly derived from its advertising for the Period. 36.736.60.2% 4.127.0 The Group recorded a loss for the Period of approximatelyH K $ 4 . 1m i l l i o n ,a s c o m p a r e d t o t h e a m o u n t o fapproximately HK$27.0 million for the Preceding Period,which was mainly attributable to the signifiant decreaseof distribution costs and administrative expenses for thePeriod. Advertising The Group continued to maintain its sales and marketingteam for this business segment. The team has beenw o r k e d i n a d v e r t i s i n g e n t e r p r i s e s a n d p o s s e s s a nextensive clientele network and are also experienced inadvertisement design and planning. In the year, the Group has offered value-added services toits clients annual advertising solutions on various mediaplatforms such as advertising on mass transportationand social media, which has sharpened its competitiveedge for successfully retaining its existing clients whileexpanding its client base by clients’ referrals. Thanks tostrong brand equity, the Group has been able to maintainstable client base with high degree of customer loyalty,while also attracting new customer segments and enteringnew markets this year. During the Period, the Group’s advertising servicesbusiness recorded a revenue of approximately HK$36.7million, as compared to that of approximately HK$34.8million, recorded in the Preceding Period representing anincrease of approximately 5.3%. It was mainly result fromthe recover of the market sentiments during the Period. 36.734.85.3% The Group would closely monitor the existing operationsof this segment by deploying proportionated resources tomaintain a steady operation with a view to capturing thebusiness opportunities in the second half of the year. New energy batteries During the period, the Group has disposed the new energybatteries segment, no revenue was recorded from thesales of new energy batteries. New energy off-road vehicles During the period, the Group has disposed the new energyoff-road vehicles segment, no revenue was recorded fromthe sales of new energy off-road vehicles. Health care products During the period, the Group has disposed the health careproducts segment, no revenue was recorded from thesales of health care products.
