During the year under review, operating conditions remainedchallenging. In Mainland China, despite policy support, economicgrowth was uneven. Intense competition, excess industrycapacity and an ongoing environment of “involution” furtherweighed on the operating landscape. In Hong Kong, recoverywas modest, constrained by weak retail sales and subduedconsumer confidence. Against this backdrop, the Group focusedon executing its core strategies across the Food and Home Carebusinesses, while making prudent investments to strengthenhuman resources, R&D, and technology. Moderated raw materialcosts, stable volumes, and disciplined cost management enabledthe Group to deliver a 51% increase in profit and improvedmargins, underscoring our resilience in navigating complex marketconditions. 51% The Group’s cash position remained robust, providing flexibilityto pursue both organic and inorganic growth while sustaining astable dividend policy. The Board is pleased to recommend a finaldividend of HK$0.33 per share.
