The plan calls for the upgrade of infrastructure andthe strengthening of water supply security. It promotes the integrated urban-ruralwater supply systems and the development of scaled centralised water supply,encourages the standardised construction and renovation of small water supplyprojects, strengthens the construction of small and medium-sized water sourceprojects, and implements water quality improvement initiatives.
