Bibliography of Published Papers and PresentationsUsing IQVIA Information Introduction Evidence-based research is vitally important in the rapidly evolving, complex, and unpredictable healthcare landscape. Therefore, researchers worldwide relyheavily on IQVIA’s data and insights to deepen understanding of disease trends, healthcare expenditures, policy dynamics, and real-world clinical outcomes. These research activities highlight the growing importance of Human DataScience — a multidisciplinary field that merges human science, data analytics, and health expertise. Collaborative research efforts with academic institutions andother partners are central to IQVIA’s mission as a global leaderin information and technology services. These partnershipshelp expand knowledge in areas such as health systems, patient care patterns, and policy development, resulting in asubstantial volume of peer-reviewed articles and conferencecontributions across diverse healthcare topics. • Providing context for healthcare costs• Assessing policy levers for health interventions• Advancing real-world patient-level clinical evidence Together, these studies reflect a significant advancementin understanding how our healthcare system functionsin real-world settings, and how the healthcare system issubject to continued changes that impact patients, clinicians, providers, payers, policymakers, and other stakeholders.Overall, research focused on understanding disease andtreatment patterns represents the most prominent categoryamong published studies. The scope of data used in these studies is broad, andthe number of publications leveraging IQVIA’s resourcescontinues to grow. This bibliography captures 80publications from the second half of 2024 and 133 fromthe first half of 2025, reflecting the increasing use ofIQVIA data in scholarly research. This bibliography has been produced as a public servicewithout industry or government funding. The studies draw from a wide array of sources, including aggregated global and national prescriptiondata, provider-level prescribing patterns, anonymizedlongitudinal patient records, healthcare provider profilesand affiliations, and commercial insurance claims formedical and pharmacy services. This approach is gaining momentum, especially instudies involving biologics and biosimilars, the expanding use of GLP-1 therapies for metabolic conditions, and large-scale data initiatives like OHDSI that enable large-scale, standardized data analysis. By tappinginto real-world data, researchers are better equipped to analyze treatment variability, identify emerging carepatterns, and generate insights that are increasingly shaping the future of healthcare. This diverse set of researchunderscores the growing relevance and utility of real-world evidence in shaping the future of healthcare.
