While Hong Kong’s economy showedmodest expansion, it remained under pressure from persistentgeopolitical tensions, a tightening global financial environment,and restrained consumer confidence. The retail sector facedchallenges as shopping behaviours shifted rapidly, with moreconsumersopting for online channels and prioritising cost-conscious spending. Additionally, a notable shift of consumerexpendituretowards Mainland China dampened local retailactivityeven with increased visitor arrivals.Together,thesefactors led to a cautious retail market and limited investmentappetite.The residential property market also encountered headwindsthroughout the Y
