Throughout the year, the Group maintaineda prudent approach in operation, which strictly controlled costs andexpenses, while fully capitalizing on domestic interest rate downtrendcycle and tax incentives to significantly reduce interest and taxexpenditures. As a result, the net profit for the year increased by31.2% to RMB170.9 million compared with last year. Total revenue for the year was RMB2,261.3 million,representing an increase of 2.0% year-on-year, with urban watertreatment operation accounting for 95.5% of the total. Due to thecompletion of certain construction-in-progress projects during the year,revenue from construction services increased by 53.2% to RMB266.0million compared to last year. The wastewater treatment operation hadbeen developing steadily, with the actual wastewater treatment volumereaching 1,278.4 million tonnes this year, representing a slight increaseof 1% compared with last year. The utilization rate of the wastewatertreatment plants remained at a high level of 85%. Revenue fromoperations decreased by approximately 2% compared with last year,due to disposal of projects and one-time deduction in revenue arisingfrom post-project audits. The overall gross profit margin for the yearstood at 48.2%, remaining largely flat compared to 48.5% for the sa
