An interim dividend of HK$0.455 pershare was paid in November 2024. Based on the number of shares in issue as at the end ofJune 2024, which was 4,810,443,740, this dividend amounted to a total of HK$2,189million. If the proposal is approved by the resolution of the general meeting, the totaldividend for 2024 will be HK$1.19 per share, which, based on the full-year weightedaverage number of 4,851,070,343 ordinary shares in issue, will result in a total dividendpayout of HK$5,766 million for the year, with a payout ratio of 40%.
