The advertisingsector remains cautious, with various industries scaling backtheir advertising spending, which has inevitably impactedtheGroup’s advertising operations.Despite intensifyingcompetition in the media industry, the Group has stayedclosely attuned to market trends, proactively addressingchallenges, expanding business channels, and enhancingoperational efficiency. Building on the solid foundation of ourtraditional media business, we are accelerating our digitaltransformation to drive future growth. 回顧二零二四年，全球經濟環境依然複雜多變。地 緣 政 治 衝 突 升 級、貿 易 摩 擦 加 劇 以 及 環 球 利率 高 企 等 因 素，給 本 地 經 濟 活 動 和 市 場 信 心 帶來 一 定 壓 力。廣 告 市 場 方 面，市 場 氛 圍 依 然 審慎，各行業廣告投放受到影響，本集團的廣告業務 受 到 一 定 程 度 的 衝 擊。雖 然 媒 體 行 業 市 場 競爭日益激烈，本集團緊貼市場動向，積極應對挑戰，拓寬業務渠道，提高營運效率，在傳統媒體業 務 穩 健 發 展 的 基 礎 上，進 一 步 加 速 數 碼 化 轉型，以推動未來的增長。 O v e rt h e p a s t y e a r ,“ S i n g T a o ”h a s a c c e l e r a t e d t h eintegration of print and digital media, continuously expandingits digital platforms and leveraging innovative technologiessuch as artificial intelligence to enhance overall operationalperformance.We successfully hosted a series of majorevents,including the 30th Anniversary Celebration ofthe “Leader of the Year”, the “ESG Certification AwardsandSustainable Development Forum 2024”,and the“China Macro Economy and Greater Bay Area IntegrationForum2024”.At the same time,we stayed attuned tomarket demands by organising the “Sing Tao Real EstateDevelopment Trends Forum” and the “Hong Kong HigherEducation Expo”.
