Despite a rise inexports, economic recovery has been hampered by a decline inoverall consumer spending. The construction and renovationsector faced numerous headwinds in 2024, including rising costs ofraw materials, labor shortages, and stringent regulatory demands.Furthermore, sustained geopolitical tension and inflationarypressure, coupled with the anticipated delay in any interestrate cut by the Federal Reserve, have all adversely impacted theglobal economy. Under this volatile environment, our Group wasinevitably affected, and resulted in a challenging financial year.The Group recorded consolidated revenue of approximatelyHK$105.5 million for the Reporting Year, representing a decreaseof approximately 31.8% as compared to approximately HK$154.7million for the year ended 31 December 2023 (the“Corresponding 主 席 報 告CHAIRMAN’S STATEMENT Year”). The Group recorded a decrease in gross profit ofapproximately 29.0% as compared with the Corresponding Year,to approximately HK$9.3 million for the Reporting Year.
