Financial information is based on consolidatedfinancial statements, and reporting standards and definitions complywith K-IFRS. Data on energy use and GHG emissions are derived fromverified emissions verification. Any significant changes are noted in therelevant sections. HYUNDAI WIA’s annual sustainability report, which began publicationin 2020, is now in its fifth issue. * Through this yearly report, HYUNDAIWIA discloses its ESG management goals and status to stakeholders,aiming to enhance the company’s value. To gather stakeholders’ opin-ions, a materiality assessment was conducted to identify key issues. Thereport highlights these material issues, along with HYUNDAI WIA’sefforts and achievements in sustainability management. * The last sustainability report was published in June 2023. Report Reliability Reporting Period To enhance the internal and external credibility of the report, third-partyverification was conducted by the Korea Management CertificationInstitute. For GHG emissions and energy use, a third-party verificationwas performed by DNV to ensure the accuracy and reliability of thedata. Detailed opinions from the verification inistitutions are included inthe Appendix. This report covers company’s of sustainability management perfor-mance from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 and presentsquantitative data spanning the years 2021 to 2023. Additionally, itincludes important qualitative performance data up to the first half of2024, extending beyond the reporting period. We will also strive to build a sustainable business portfolio thatincludes eco-friendly automotive parts. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude for your interest in and support forHYUNDAI WIA. Despite the challenging business environment last year, we achieved outstandingbusiness performance achievement in business. Our sales exceeded recordedmore than KRW 8 trillion for the second consecutive year and we are strategicallydiversifying our business portfolio to align with evolving mobility landscape.As part of those effort, we also laid the foundation for mass production of ourintegrated thermal management system, an essential future growth driver. Thismilestone was facilitated through reorganizing related teams and completingthe construction of the Thermal Management Test Center. In addition, thecommercialization of mobilitiy solutions, such as parking and logistics robots is alsocontributing to te revenue growth. We are committed tobecoming a sustainablecompany that prioritizeshappiness of humanity. Second, we will counter climate change on a wider scale. To tackle climate change, we joined the RE100 Initiative in 2022 and set a goalof converting 100% of our power source to renewable energy by 2045. Toachieve this goal, we have installed photovoltaic panels at our Changwon plantsand Uiwang R&D Center. We are also increasing the procurement of renewableenergy
