Factors such as geopoliticalconflicts, inflation and interest rate fluctuations continued to hinder the paceof economic recovery. Under the impact of going north more frequently forconsumption and weak consumer sentiment, the sales performance of theGroup’swholesale business remained stagnant.Moreover,the Group’strading business also encountered many difficulties and challenges duringthe Review Period. Although the sales team continued to make every effortto expand its customer base and strengthen relationships with customers,the business performance of the trading business was still underperformingbecause of the slowdown in demand growth and a sharp decline in tradingvolume of the export business. Nevertheless, fueled by the manufactureand sales of compound fertilisers business, the Group’s revenue increasedsignificantly during the Review Period.
