These unaudited condensed interimfinancial statements have been reviewed by members of the auditcommittee of the Company. 業績回顧 REVIEW OF RESULTS MANAGEMENT D I SCUSSION A N D A N A L Y SIS管理層討論與分析 429,140,000384,121,000物業、機器及設備10,672,00015,456,00035,361,000 For the six months ended 30 June 2024, the Group reported a drop inrevenue from HK$429,140,000 in 2023 to HK$384,121,000 in 2024because the Group’s only infrastructure project was completed in 2023and some of the Group’s security businesses dropped. During theCurrent Period, the Group’s overall operating performance was slightlyimproved without taking into those non-cash gains recognised in2023 as well as the loss on disposal of property, plant and equipment(“PPE”) of HK$10,672,000 in 2024. Without considering any non-cash gains and the loss on disposal of PPE of the respective period,the Group’s operating profit improved from HK$15,456,000 in 2023 toHK$35,361,000 in 2024. Total revenue of HK$250,200,000 (30 June2023: HK$266,662,000) was generated during the first half of the year,representing approximately 65% (30 June 2023: approximately 62%) ofthe Group’s revenue. Its net profit after net off of amortisation of otherintangible assets for the Current Period was HK$42,221,000 (30 June2023: HK$31,335,000) representing an increase of approximately 35%.Increase in profitability level of this segment was due to the markedimprovement in the Group’s overseas security business, particularly inAfrica and South East Asia.
