A.BUSINESS REVIEW In the first half of 2024, China’s real estate industry is still ina continued downturn. According to data from the NationalBureau of Statistics, in the first seven months of 2024,national real estate development investment was RMB6.08trillion, a year-on-year decrease of 10.2%. From Januaryto July in total, the sales area of newly built commercialbuildings was 541.49 million sq.m., down 18.6% year-on-year,and the sales volume of newly built commercialbuildings was RMB5.33 trillion, down 24.3%.
