Duringthe first half of 2023,the general economicconditionsof the PRC improved slightly following therelaxationof pandemic-related measures and lifting ofborder controls. However, challenges remain in the propertymarketand construction industry under the dynamisminduced by various macro-economic factors. The macroenvironment of the China’s real estate industry has stillundergonetremendous downturn.The sale of propertyindustryin China slowed down dramatically and pricesfell.Alongside,the real estate developers encountereddifficulties in raising fund through traditional channels in thecapital market which created tremendous pressure on theliquidity of most market players.
