The Group’s major businesses include investment holding, commercial andresidential property development, property investment, property management andhotel operation. The Group is an integrated commercial and residential propertydeveloper, owner and operator in the People’s Republic of China (the “PRC”) andfocuses on developing projects that are physically connected or in close proximity tometro stations or other transportation hubs. 管理層討論與分析Management Discussion and Analysis 董事董事會報告期間 The board (the “Board”) of directors (the “Directors”) of the Company is pleased toannounce the unaudited consolidated results of the Group for the six months ended30 June 2024 (the “Reporting Period”). BUSINESS REVIEW 276.1562.782%80%81%83% In the first half of 2024, the international political and economic situation wascomplex and volatile, US central banks continued higher interest rate policy tocontrol liquidity, increasing the risk of economic recession. The weak economicrecovery and the effects of various adverse factors in the real estate market andfinancial environment have posed severe challenges to the business developmentof the Group, resulting in a significant decrease in contracted sales. For the sixmonths ended 30 June 2024, the Group managed to achieve a total contractedsales of approximately RMB276.1 million (for the six months ended 30 June2023: RMB562.7 million) and property leasing and hotel operation businessremained stable when compared with the corresponding period of last year. Averageoccupancy rates of the reporting period for property leasing and hotel operationwere approximately 82% (30 June 2023: 80%) and 81% (30 June 2023: 83%),respectively. In March 2023, the Group announced the restructuring of its senior notes, whichupon completion, will improve the Group’s financial position and sustainability andallow the Group to resume its daily operations.
