However, the globaleconomy has seen a moderate rebound and normalisation andshowed a firmer footing in light of the ongoing and stabilised macroeconomy and the gradual recovery of international trade. In the face of internal and external challenges, the China’s economyshowed strong resilience. In the first half of 2024, the gross domesticproduct of China was RMB61.7 trillion, representing a steadyincreasing rate of 5%. In terms of investment, consumption andexport, the exports witnessed a steady recovery but the investmentrate fell. The consumption indicator pointed to sluggish consumptionmainly because real estate consumption declined sharply.
