Management monitors the results of the Group’s operatingsegments separately for the purpose of making decisionsabout resources allocation and performance assessment.Segment performance is evaluated based on reportablesegment profit, which is a measure of adjusted profit beforetax. The adjusted profit before tax is measured consistentlywith the Group’s profit before tax except that bank interestincome, interest on bank borrowings as well as corporateand other unallocated expenses are excluded from suchmeasurement. Intersegment sales and transfers are transacted withreference to the selling prices used for sales made to thirdparties at the then prevailing market prices. Segment assets do not
