BUSINESS REVIEW AND OUTLOOK 62.413.165.12022123168.614.288.3 During the Current Year, the Group recorded revenue of HK$62.4 millionas compared with HK$68.6 million for the year ended 31 December 2022(“Corresponding Year”), gross profit of HK$13.1 million as compared withHK$14.2 million in Corresponding Year and net loss of HK$65.1 million ascompared with HK$88.3 million in Corresponding Year. Sports and Entertainment Business (i)(ii)(iii)(iv)(v) The Group is principally engaged in the Sports and Entertainment Business.MetaSpace (Beijing) Air Dome Corp.* (“MetaSpace”), a non-wholly ownedsubsidiary of the Company, is a leading integrated service provider in the PRCfocusing on construction, operation and management of air-dome facilities. Theseair domes can be widely applied in five major scopes: (i) sports, (ii) commercialand cultural tourism, (iii) industrial and environmental protection, (iv) agriculturalwarehousing, and (v) highland oxygen enrichment. The development of the air dome industry in China was initially sparked bythe adoption of foreign technology. As domestic manufacturers have steadilyexpanded, foreign companies have progressively withdrawn from the Chinesemarket. At present, the domestic air dome market is highly concentrated, withleading enterprises possessing distinct competitive advantages. Nonetheless, theair dome market remains predominantly populated by small and medium-sizedenterprises, with key players located in first-tier regions including Beijing, Shanghai,and Shenzhen.
