Today,our world experiences various profound and lastingchangesdriven by factors such as the ascent of ArtificialIntelligence(AI),climate shifts,alterations in global powerdynamics,and demographic transitions.These transformativeforces extend globally, permeating various aspects of society,andcarry significant momentum.Addressing these emergingrisks involves employing localized strategies, pioneering efforts,collaborative actions, and coordinated international approaches. (AI) (IMF)(WEO)3.1%3.2%0.2 In the January 2024 World Economic Outlook (WEO) UpdateofInternational Monetary Fund(IMF),the global growth isprojected at 3.1 percent in 2024 and 3.2 percent in 2025, withthe2024 forecast 0.2 percentage point higher than that inits October 2023 forecast. This upward revision indicates theincreased confidence in China’s fiscal policies and resilience inthe United States (U.S.) and several major emerging economies.Andthe positive outlook of China also presents additionalpossibilitiesfor global growth surprises.According to theNational Bureau of Statistics (NBS) of China, the year 2023 wasthe first year to fully implement the guiding principles of the20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC)and also a year for economic recovery and development afterthree years of Covid-19 prevention and control in the country.Alignedwith decisions and directives from the CPC CentralCommitteeand the State Council,China’s national economyexperienceda resurgence.The nation made substantialstridestoward high-quality development,achieving significantprogress in modernizing its industrial system, fostering scientificandtechnological breakthroughs,deepening reform andopening-up, and fortifying the foundation for overall security anddevelopment.
