The Group’s revenue for the Year was approximately HK$207.2 million,representing an increase of approximately 142.3%, as compared withapproximately HK$85.5 million in the year ended 30 June 2022 (the“Previous Year”). The Group reported a gross profit of approximatelyHK$136.6 million for the Year under review, representing an increase ofapproximately 520.9%, as compared with approximately HK$22.0 million inthe Previous Year. 207,200,000過往年度85,500,000142.3%136,600,00022,000,000520.9% The Group had a strong comeback for this Year in terms of financialperformance thanks to the return of the Philippines to one of the globaltourism and gaming hotspots following the reopening of its internationalborders and the dropping of all capacity restrictions and lockdowns in thefirst half of 2022. Business activities in the country have gradually picked upsince then. This Year, the economy of the Philippines has maintained arobust growth trajectory to be on par with the pre-pandemic level andproved itself among the fastest growing economies in Southeast Asia. Welook forward to seeing a surge of tourists arriving in the Philippines andplayers in the gaming industry when we all leave the novel coronaviruspandemic as a history behind. With the government of the Philippinescontinuous efforts to push and promote the country as a global tourismpowerhouse and top gaming destination, the Group is prepared to capturenew opportunities and evolve in this post pandemic era where changesare coming to challenge the norms from before.
