The Global Report on Food Crises is a joint analysis by 16 organizations that collect, analyze, and interpret data on vulnerable populations facing acute food insecurity worldwide. The Food Security Information Network Secretariat expresses gratitude to governments, international agencies, NGOs, and institutions that contribute to the report's production, including this mid-year update. The report's content is reviewed by experts, and vulnerable individuals, families, and communities share their experiences of hunger, enabling the report's communication. The European Union provides funding for the report. The FSIN Secretariat thanks all individuals who contribute to the report, and technical support is provided by partner organizations.
