The interim condensed consolidated financialinformation is unaudited, but has been reviewed by the auditcommittee of the Board (the “Audit Committee”) and Ernst & Young,the independent auditors of the Company, in accordance withHong Kong Standard on Review Engagements 2410 “Review ofInterim Financial Information Performed by the Independent Auditorof the Entity” issued by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified PublicAccountants. ECONOMIC ENVIRONMENT 經濟環境狀況 In the first half of 2023, China’s overall economy has been on anuptrend, with GDP exceeding RMB59 trillion, representing a year-on-year increase of 5.5%. Market dynamics and consumption potentialhave been gradually released, and household consumption hasresumed its growth trend, with total retail sales of consumer goodsexceeding RMB22 trillion, representing a year-on-year increase of8.2%. 2023(GDP)595.5%228.2% With the recovery of consumption motivation and the increase ofconsumers’ outdoor and travel activities, the market size of thebeverage industry has rebounded significantly, and the marketshift toward diversified, sugar-free and healthy products within softbeverage industry has gradually emerged. 20235 5 The newly issued “Regulations on the Supervision and Managementof Implementation of Main Responsibility of Quality and Safety ofIndustrial Product Manufacturing Units ()” came into effect on May 5, 2023,driving enterprises to fulfill their primary responsibilities and enhancehazard prevention and control capabilities.
