The unaudited consolidated financial statements for the six monthsended 30 June 2023 have not been audited by the Company’sindependent auditor, but have been reviewed by the Company’s auditcommittee. Notes to the Condensed Consolidated Financial Statements簡明綜合財務報表附註 For the six months ended 30 June 2023 The condensed consolidated financial statements have been preparedon the historical cost basis except for certain properties and financialinstruments, which are measured at fair values. Other than changes in accounting policies resulting from applicationof new and amendments to Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards(“HKFRSs”), the accounting policies and methods of computationused in the condensed consolidated financial statements for the sixmonths ended 30 June 2023 are the same as those presented in theGroup’s annual consolidated financial statements for the year ended31 December 2022. The HKICPA has issued a number of new and revised HKFRSs andinterpretations that are first effective or available for early adoptionfor the six months ended 30 June 2023. The Group is assessing thefull impact of the new standards, amendments and interpretations.According to the preliminary assessment, there have been no materialimpact on the accounting policies applied in these financial statementsfor the current and prior accounting periods presented as a result ofthese developments.
