The Group’s loss for thePeriod attributable to owners of the Company was approximately HK$12.8million (2022: HK$11.1 million). The total comprehensive loss of the Group forthe Period was approximately HK$17.6 million (2022: HK$13.1 million), whichwas mainly due to the increase in finance costs mainly as a result of increase ininterest rates during the Period. The basic loss per share for the Period was 1.18HK cents (2022: 1.02 HK cents). BUSINESS REVIEW AND PROSPECTS 除本報告所披露者外,自本公司截至二零二二年十二月三十一日止年度的年報刊發以來,本集團的業務及財務狀況的發展或未來發展並無重大變動。 Save as disclosed in this report, there have been no material changes in thedevelopment or future development of the Group’s business and financialposition since the publication of the annual report of the Company for the yearended 31 December 2022. Business Review 本集團繼續於香港從事其核心業務,主要活動包括物業投資及證券投資。 The Group’s core business continues to be in Hong Kong. The principalactivities include property investment and investment in securities. Property Investment 於二零二三年六月三十日,投資物業組合包括位 於 香 港 賬 面 值 約 港 幣1,418,100,000元(二 零二二年十二月三十一日:約港幣1,418,100,000元)之商業單位。於本期間,本集團錄得租金收入約港幣4,000,000元(二零二二年:約港幣2,300,000元)。管理層將持續檢討投資物業組合,並不時尋求潛在收購及╱或出售機會。 The portfolio of investment properties comprised of commercial units locatedin Hong Kong with a carrying amount of approximately HK$1,418.1 million asat 30 June 2023 (31 December 2022: approximately HK$1,418.1 million). TheGroup recorded rental income of approximately HK$4.0 million (2022:approximately HK$2.3 million) for the Period. Management will continue toreview its portfolio of investment properties and seek for potential acquisitionand/or disposal opportunities from time to time.
