(the “Company”) presentsthe unaudited condensed consolidated interim financialstatements of the Company and its subsidiaries (collectively,the “Group”) for the six months ended 30 June 2023. BUSINESS REVIEW (i)(ii) The Group was principally engaged in the provision of (i)construction and engineering services; and (ii) property-related services for the six months ended 30 June 2023. Construction and Engineering Services LPMI Geotech Engineering Limited (“Geotech Engineering”),an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, isprincipally engaged in construction and engineering servicesand a leading slope works contractor in Hong Kong withover 20 years of experience in the civil engineering industry.It is an approved specialist contractor included in theList of Approved Specialist Contractors for Public Worksmaintained by the Development Bureau (the “DB”) underthe categories of “Landslip preventive/remedial works toslopes/retaining walls” (the “LPM”) (confirmed status) and“Ground investigation field work” (Group I status) and alsoan approved contractor included in the List of ApprovedContractors for Public Works under the category of “Siteformation” (Group B probationary status). In addition,Geotech Engineering is also registered as a specialistcontractor in the categories of site formation works andground investigation field works with the Building Authority. Geotech Engineering was under regulatoryactions from (i) the Construction Industry Council to suspendits registration as a registered subcontractor under thecategory of general civil works with specialty in geotechnicalworks for a period of six months with effect from 6 July2021; and (ii) the DB to voluntarily refrain from tendering forpublic works contracts under the LPM category for a periodof eight months with effect from 4 August 2021 (togetherthe “Suspension”). Further details of the Suspension weredisclosed in the announcements published by the Companyon 5 July 2021 and 30 July 2021. The Suspensions from theabove authorities were released in
