CHAIRMAN’S STATEMENT 二零二二╱二三財政年度又是充滿宏觀挑戰的一年。一方面，地緣政治緊張局勢升溫加上揮之不去的新冠疫情陰霾，共同打亂全球供應鏈。貿易端亦因此需要作出大幅調整，這導致鋼鐵等商品價格出現大幅波動，亦為我們的鋼鐵分銷及加工業務增添了不少不確定性。同時，利率上升和通脹環境進一步增加了問題的複雜性，消費者及投資者╱企業在如此不確定的環境下均採取了較保守的態度，紛紛降低消費及投資╱租賃意慾，窒礙了我們建築材料分銷業務以及房地產投資及基金運營業務的發展。 Fiscal year 2022/23 was once again a year filled with severemacro headwinds. On the one hand, the rising geopoliticaltensionand lingering COVID-19 have together created aglobal supply chain chaos. That resulted in notable changesin trading patterns, followed by high volatility in commodityprices such as steel, which posed unwanted uncertainties toour Steels Distribution and Processing Business.
