AsIreflecton2022,IamproudthattheGrouphadadaptedtothechallengesofeconomicuncertaintyandtheGrouphaddemonstrateditsresilienceandincreasedourrevenueandgrossprofit.Weremaincommittedtothesafetyofourworkers,qualityofoursnackproductsandtodeliveringvaluetoourstakeholders. FINANCIALPERFORMANCE In2022,theSingaporeeconomyexpandedby3.6%,moderatingfromthe8.9%growthin2021.TheGroup’srevenueinSingaporeandMalaysiahadalsoimproved,andsalesinSingaporemadeup59.9%oftheGroup’srevenuefortheyearended31December2022. TheGroup’stotalrevenueincreasedbyapproximatelyS$9.5millionor14.6%fromapproximatelyS$65.3millionfortheyearended31December2021toapproximatelyS$74.8millionfortheyearended31December2022,mainlyduetohighersalesfornutsandchipsinbothSingaporeandMalaysia.TheGroup’stotalgrossprofitincreasedbyapproximatelyS$0.3millionor1.6%fromapproximatelyS$17.7millionfortheyearended31December2021toapproximatelyS$18.0millionfortheyearended31December2022inlinewiththeincreaseinrevenueandcostofsales.Thegrossprofitmargindecreasedfromapproximately27.1%fortheyearended31December2021to24.0%fortheyearended31December2022.TheGroup’sprofitfortheyearincreasedbyapproximatelyS$2.4millionor69.9%fromapproximatelyS$3.4millionfortheyearended31December2021toapproximatelyS$5.8millionfortheyearended31December2022.
