During the year under review, the global economy demonstrated reasonableresilience despite ongoing uncertainties. Inflationary pressures moderatedin many regions and monetary conditions gradually stabilised. Nevertheless,geopolitical tensions, trade disputes and policy uncertainties continued toinfluence business activity. Within the technology sector, consumer electronicsdemand remained uneven, while investment in artificial intelligence (“AI”),cloud computing and data-centre infrastructure continued to support growthin the semiconductor industry. Dr. So Yuk KwanChairman AV Concept Holdings LimitedAV Concept AI Chairman’s Statement主席致辭 1,334.81,190.0231.753.7114.413.2 The year under review marked a notable improvement in the operatingenvironment for the Group compared with the previous financial year.Supported by strengthening market conditions within the memorysemiconductor sector and disciplined execution across our businesses,the Group recorded revenue of approximately HK$1,334.8 million (2025:HK$1,190.0 million). Profit attributable to owners of the Company amountedto approximately HK$231.7 million (2025: HK$53.7 million), while gross profitwas approximately HK$114.4 million (2025: HK$13.2 million). DRAMNAND The Semiconductor Distribution Business, which remains the Group’s principalbusiness segment, benefited from a more favourable industry environmentduring the year under review. The global semiconductor industry experiencedone of its strongest growth periods in recent years, driven primarily bydemand for AI-related computing infrastructure and advanced memoryproducts. Demand for DRAM, NAND and other memory products improvedthroughout the year under review, supported by increasing investment indata centres, cloud computing platforms and AI applications. At the sametime, supply conditions remained relatively disciplined across the industry,contributing to healthier pricing conditions compared with the previousfinancial year. One of our subsidiary, AV Concept Singapore Pte Ltd (“AV Singapore”),continued to benefit from its long-standing relationship with SamsungElectronics, one of the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers. TheGroup has maintained a successful partnership with Samsung Electronicsfor more than four decades, and we believe this relationship continuesto represent an important competitive advantage. Supported by prudentinventory management, disciplined working capital controls and closecollaboration with suppliers and customers, AV Singapore was able tonavigate the market effectively during
