In thispivotal year, the PRI will continue to consult widely on the future ofresponsible investing as part of its strategy development process, In answering those questions, the group formed views on the purposeof responsible investment for asset owners and on thematic andstructural priorities. Throughout this process, the FoRI group soughtto reflect the full range of asset owner perspectives (not just those of Between August and September 2025, the initial findings from theFoRI workshops were tested with a broader group of partners andkey stakeholders across a range of geographies. The consultationincluded 31 interviews with asset owners, investment managers, serviceproviders and other investment ecosystem stakeholders from aroundthe world, and two workshops with the PRI’sSustainable Systems The purpose of the FoRI group was to enhance dialogue betweenasset owners and the PRI on present-day barriers and challenges toresponsible investing, and to ideate innovative solutions and prioritiesthat could shape the field for the next 20 years.
